Very good question. Well from personal experience I would say that they would stare at you, try to save your soul and then when you left they would belittle your believes, talk behind your back and call their friends to gossip about your religion in the guise "we are praying for you."

They'd do what all christians do. Point their fingers and say "no. you're wrong and I'm right." As a matter of fact, all religions do that. Because without new believers, their religion will die out. Wouldn't that be great? No christians, jews, muslims, etc. Just people trying to get along in this life instead of worrying about an afterlife that may or may not exist. One thing for sure is that religious people think they know what lies beyond, but they don't. They are just to scared to admit that this may be all there is. It amazes me how many people think they know God, or God's will. That sounds pretty arrogant to me, to put oneself on the same level as a supreme being. Religion holds back the progress of mankind. Christians, Jews, And Muslims are all guilty of shedding the blood of innocents in the name of their god. They are all guilty of denying it as well. Stupid sheep, led by the nose. Remember. There are two things to keep away from children. Religion and Cigarettes! Best thing to do is not to answer the door!

In an ideal world we would invite them in for coffee or tea and discuss in a civil manner the differences in our beliefs.

Then when all was discussed those who came knocking would see that instead of a religion what they need is a relationship with Jesus Christ.

They would understand that because, they will have learned that Jesus shed His blood on the cross for their sins. That they need a savior and that He rose again the third day having victory over death & the grave.

FYI - it is usually Jehovah's Witnesses who go door to door. They are in the catagory of "other religions" and not Christians.

Go ahead and try it. If you are strong in your belief system, you shouldn't be afraid. Also, if they are TRUE Christians then they should be able to RESPECTFULLY decline your attempt to evangelize to them. Christ teaches to be kind, and tolerant of all people and beliefs weather we agree or not (the exception of course is if true harm is being done to others, but hopefully you get my drift). Too many wars have been fought and too many lives lost in some retarded attempt to spread peace through violence.
Personally, I applaud any person that has enough conviction of faith to preach door-to-door, no matter the faith. I will respect your choice to preach as long as you respect my choice to decline.

I remember seeing footage of John Saffran door to door knocking in Salt Lake City about Agnosticism. He got a lot of angry people. Especially when he started trying to sell them copies of Darwin's work.

It was amusing to see.

Only the JW's & mormons do the door knock thing, so dont generalise that they are Christians as a whole.

Same thing I do now when a JW comes knocking. I tell him about the Sabbath, and to keep the ten commandments.

They would not like it, but that will not happen with Wicca because we do not beleive in converting people. We beleive each path is right for the individuual. Yes, even Christianity is the correct path for those who are happy in it.

I would welcome them in, offer them a cup of coffee or a soda and listen to them. I would also ask them how they know they can have eternal life and then let them know that I have no doubt that I do and would share the reason why. In other words, I would share the link below with them.

We'd say no thank you . Just like we do to the Jehovah's witnesses. Your an idiot by the way for generalizing all Christians as people who come to your door to convert you. I dont care if you convert or not. Its your soul do what you want with it.
