Oh my. Poor baby. Yes, I do have advice since I love to sing and have always been plagued with hoarseness and what have you. Sweetie? Take a vow of silence. i am not kidding. Say nothing to anyone. Not a word. Drink warm tea with lemon and if you don't mind, a shot of some type of whiskey, a hot toddy if you will. The best type of losenge I have found is a blue, shrink wrapped Cepacol that works wonders. I know I did not spell that right, just to let the yahoo spelling police know in advance so they don't attack my stupidity for not being able to spell! LOL! Is there any way you can postpone the audition? Do you have a recording that you can give in lieu? Most understanding folks will give you the benefit of the doubt or another day, which may only be two to four days late. Is that feasible? Hey, will you go to ksolo.com and listen to some of my songs for a bit of insight as to how one who knows should sing? I'm Sheri 44 California. Everyone can go ahead and laugh at me, but fact is, I can sing very well. So can you. Use your charm and grace to buy you a bit more time. And good luck sweetie. I will be rooting for you! :)

Stop talking. Don't even whisper as whispering is even harder on the vocal chords. Drink soothing tea with lemon and honey. Get plenty or rest and cross your fingers. Sunday is a while away still, so you may be in perfect voice by then. If not, let the person running the audition know and maybe they can make an allowance and give you a call back.

Nobody likes this, but it works. Chew up a fresh garlic clove, allowing the juice to coat your mouth and throat. Follow with a tall glass of water. You should be fine in a day or so.

If that's too extreme, try apple cider vinegar and honey, 1/2 in of each in the bottom of a cup, then fill the rest with hot water. Maybe a touch of lemon juice. Best of luck in the audition!

i'm a sucker for a southern drawl. Dolly Parton Kelly Pickler additionally, if ever there became a voice of an Angel on earth that's that of Alison Krause. i'm stunned %. did no longer point out Sir Paul. he's have been given a great one nonetheless. Sam Elliott has been doing voice overs for years now -- I accept as true with you on his.

oh I hate that when it gets in my throat like that. Try gargling with salt water, 5 minutes out of every hour, keep drinking tons of liquids: cranberry juice, orange juice, hot lemonade, water, things that flush germs out. Cough drops can help soothe if you can't get to water or liquid. I get tickle like coughs when I get a cold, so annoying. The cough drops with menthol in them are good. One thing I do that helps alot and it's a little odd is to add salt to a sip of gingerale and gargle because the bubbles in it help clean **** out of your throat and somehow it just feels good.
