the vomiting is more than likely NOT from being pregnant, if she is an outside cat, she might have eaten something that made her sick or it could be a hairball.

Vets may or may not spay when an animal is pregnant. There are some who have moral issues against it and just as many that have moral issues about unwanted litters. Find one that feels the way you do. If you cat is not in heat or pregnant then there is less work for the vet to do. When the Uterus is ...let's say working overtime...there is more blood flowing to it and therefore a more difficult and potentially hazardous (for the cat) procedure. I've worked for vets that HATE spaying female animals during their heat cycles because of the possiblities for complications.

Remember too, just because you can't find homes for her kittens right now, does not mean that you won't be able to once they are old enough. You have about 6 - 8 weeks AFTER they are born to find them homes, and my own personal experience is that the last one that no one wanted, turns out to be the sweetest and most loving and I would not have given away if you paid me!!!

Good luck!

It's never too late to spay your cat. They don't usually throw up when pregnant, one of my cats had a litter every year and never threw up. She might just have an intolerance to the food she's eating, or could be adjusting to a new brand if you just changed it. My cats always throw up for a few days if I change the food.

To your 2nd question: You could get her spayed if she just got pregnant, but I don't recommend it. This happened to my cat, but we didn't know she was pregnant until it was done and she was never the same. She was lethargic and got a really saggy stomach and was really skittish around people. She's 15 now and still not the same.

Cats throw up at random intervals for no reason. I haven't heard of a cat getting morning sickness.
You can get her spayed even if she's pregnant. From a verterinary standpoint, and as far as her health is concerned, yes, it's OK unless the vet says otherwise.

If YOUR conscience can't deal with something like that, you need to make sure the kittens have good homes to go to.

Hi Hugo, Did you ever think about letting her have her kittens and when they are old enough try to find homes for them or take them to the aspca. As long as they are still kitten they will beable to get homes for them.About throwing up,i don't see why some of pregnant cats' can throw up like humans. They get everything else we get.I hate to say this, but if you don't won't to deal with kittens you can have her spay and they will charge alot more since she is prengant. If it was me i would try and find nice homes for them. It's your call, and you are the one who has to deal with knowing you kill the kittens.

approximately cats, I even have on no account had a cat yet i'm unsure approximately throwing up blood yet in my opinion throwing up blood seems to be like some style of disease, circulate to a Veterinary which incorporate your cat and examine on her, which would be extra helpful.
