Are you assuming that Speedy was an illegal just because he is Mexican? Perhaps he just lived in Mexico, and never even came to the U.S.

Were Boris and Natasha illegal? They were Russian (or Eastern European anyway). Did they go through all the necessary paperwork and fees before coming here?

Speedy Gonzales never had a green card, he never showed his passport, he clearly wasn’t a US citizen; therefore he was an illegal alien.

HOWEVER, Speedy Gonzales was a mouse and the law only applies to humans. Rats and birds are free to cross the border anytime they want.

i think so, senor. but he didn't go across the border but to take some cheese from the silly cat.

he went back home to his amigos and shared the cheese.
