More than Half a million Iraqis killed,
6500 unofficial figures 2800 official figure of US marines killed,
Cities destroyed,
Economy Screwed,
Sectarian Voilence started,
Million or so Miamed for life,
Oil looted and pillaged,
Civil war born,
The reason for War as given by GWBush,
W M Ds (never found, were never there)
Regime change (Iraq was called a rouge state and an Axis of evil)
Seems Saddam hadnt killed and miamed so many Iraqis after all,
Saddam lost his own two sons, Bush got his marines killed.
Amercia had no threat from Iraq at any time,
Al Qaeda has no links what so ever with Iraq,
WMDs were never there,
More civilian deaths in 3 yrs than in the entire Saddam Regime
IAmerica managed to split Iraq into peices, Saddam had held it as a nation.

Of course, it was. I don't think the ousting of one arrogant dictator is worth the thousands and thousands of lives that was lost due to the war, be it Iraqi civilians or US soldiers or the insurgents even. Usually war ought to be the last resort. But here, the US (or rather the Bush administration) launched a pre-emptive strike without any concrete evidence about the existence of any biological weapons of any sort.
The confidence with which the Bush administration engaged in war against a weak Iraq, and the lack of determination and fear it shows towards attacking a nuclear-capable South Korea is quite astounding.

It may not have been, even with the lies, if L. Paul Bremer had not disbanded the Army , Police, and de-Baathfied everything. After that, it went to hell. Not to mention totally fu c k i n g up with Rumsfeld's disasterous decision to keep the troop strength too darn small to stop all the looting after the fall of Baghdad.

No,
They got rid of Saddam and his sons and lots of Terrorists, no more no fly zone, no more threat to Kuwait and rushing thousands of troops over there every time Saddam made noises about invading it again.
All you need to say is thank you to the Soldiers/Airmen who went there are there and in Afghanistan they are making a difference and giving their very best on your behalf.
It would boost moral if more people said 'I believe in you' I believe in your misson and that your doing the best job you can to keep us safe instead of whining all the time about losing and it was a mistake.
BTW I shoot my basketball in your hoop 2 points I score!

Yes. I walked in a peace rally during the run-up, and held a sign saying, "blessed are the peacemakers for they shall inherit the earth." I walked with a whole bunch of people (much more than I thought there would be in a small town, largely repub area).

No. The mistake would be not protecting our self. The governments #1 priority is to protect it's people. And I do believe there were/are WMDs there, in whole or part.

The war itself was NOT a mistake... Have there been mistakes made in the execution of it? Sure... there always are, but we will prevail.

The big mistake was to elect a Texas village idiot as our president. The rest is an unavoidable consequence!
