Lately very good people are being reported for minor if any violations - that being they are level 6 or higher was NOT the case MONTHS and months ago.
So people noticed a change in YQ/A and many are paying a heavy price. Many of the people you wnat here are gone. Jelly Bean, Jim Darwin, JuliaG - oh there are many. Gone.
Many were "button pushers" - that worded their question with the purpose of insulting people to see if anyone had faith enough to answer them, these answers were well thought out and actually brought many many more into YQ&A to see the Q&A fly.
Now many of the level 4 and newer will never see this.
People are reported for just unknown reasons.

I have only reported one Atheist for a violation and that was 2 months ago.
After that point, I just started ignoring their questions because reporting them doesn't make them stop. They just come back under another identity.

I report people who make bigoted, racist and or otherwise hate-filled statements. I don't care if they are Atheists, Christian, Jewish or Druid.
People who hate aren't representing their religion...they're just being idiots.
Which also why a will just as quickly come to someone's defense.
With all the hate running rampant on this site, someone needs to balance it out.

what it seems more like to me, is that somebody is going through and reporting any questiion they come upon as some kind of prank--it's not just the athiests, not by a long shot--it's everyone, all of us, who are being reported

And questions posted by Christians are being counted as points for extra gold stars.
And questions by agnostics are being not-counted because agnostics don't know anything.
And questions by animists are being counted for trans-fat content.
And questions by Jews are being ignored because they aren't kosher.
And questions by followers of Baal are being ignored because of adult content.
It is enough to make one BELIEVE something is going on.
