OK, I have a this friend that I have liked for a long time.It's is very obvious that we both like each other. I just don't know how to tell him. I have thought about writinig a letter. What would you suggest?

I'mnot talking about asking him out, I just want to tell him how I feel and I chicken out every time we are together. Sometimes I get the nerve and then someone will walk up and start talking to us.

If you are serious about this matter, I would suggest the following:
Try to be with him at a place where there is not much rush, or at least the people around you do not know either of you two. Be very serious while talking and tell him frankly that you like him. Leave his opinion on him as to whether he likes you or not. Also be ready to accept his decision of being ready/not ready to stay with you forever. You should be ready to accept Yes or No with the same ease.

No, that is old fashioned. And if he is a guy like me who is more of macho he is not going to like a girl asking him out.
So get closer to him, physically and try to talk to him in a "professional" way. And show him those lovely smiles and then he will understand it.
It is better when a man persues a woman not the other way.

Ask him first if he has a girlfriend. If not take the shot and tell him what u feel..... Writing letter put u on a weaker part so believe in urself and let him know what feelings u have for him... Good Luck babe............

dont tell him how you feel, show him, go for a walk with him, adn take his hand, then continue walking an talking holding hands, that will give him a nice fat clue to your feelings, adn he'll dig the romantic way of saying it.
