And he is asleep or otherwise engaged and can't attend to it for a few hours;
And if a day to him is equal to a thousand of our years;
Wouldn't it take over 100 years for your prayer to be answered?

Don't be so paranoid-if you choose to engage in prayer, it is something that you do personally for yourself to help you through each day. It is not meant to be a list of demands you present to your god and demand "or else". all prayers and concerns are answered in this world, we just don't always get the response we are looking for, or we are too caught up on the puzzle of how a prayer gets to the recipient that we aren't paying attention. The answers are provided, always; don't stress over the small stuff, and trying to work out calculations-only god knows how he operates-certain things just don't fit into our earthly views of understanding.

Oh I am not worried about Allah not hearing to my prayers at all. Hehe.This is as said in Quran Chapter 2 : Verse 255 (Also known as Ayat-ul-Kursee) which says:

"Allah! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursee extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. "

And I am not worried about whether Allah answers me or not since HE ALWAYS does -everytime. This is in accordance with Quran Chapter 42 :Verse 26 which states:

"And He answers (the invocation of) those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and gives them increase of His Bounty. And as for the disbelievers, theirs will be a severe torment. "

He never sleeps nor naps

[2:255] GOD: there is no other god besides Him, the Living, the Eternal. Never a moment of unawareness or slumber overtakes Him. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Who could intercede with Him, except in accordance with His will? He knows their past, and their future. No one attains any knowledge, except as He wills. His dominion encompasses the heavens and the earth, and ruling them never burdens Him. He is the Most High, the Great.

"But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul."
Deuteronomy 4:29

I pray to the Lord my God because I believe that He is the One and Only God.

Some differences in the two:
God (Yahweh)
- Yahweh is eternal and changeless (James 1:17)
- Yahweh loves utterly (John 3:16)
- Yahweh cannot lie (Titus 1:2)

Allah
- Allah changes (surah 2:106)
- Allah changes in affection (surah 32:13)
- Allah deceives (surah 8:30)

Allah is not a human being.
Therefore Allah does not sleep ..
He is Almighty .. He can attend to many things at once.

So, if u pray to Allah,
ur prayers will be listened @ attended to.

It is very simple as "If all people pray to God at the same time. Do you think God will not become deaf with many voices?" I think my anwer to your question is "NO". God answers our prayers pronto! ora mismo! ASAP! But sometimes His answer is not what we are expecting.... sometimes His answer is beyond our understanding.. so we thought God didnt answer our prayers..... so keep on praying!!!!! you might awaken God from His sleep!!!

1000 years is as a day also, so wouldn't it be most scosh. The illustrationis to point out that time is not what we think it is.

My theory is it is one of the bars on the cell we are in.

When the ethereal beings see someone praying, it is like a beam of light that goes up into the heavens. When that beam of light gets bigger, they attend more quickly, for someone is in dire need.

That really is a long time to wait for a "NO".

That is the only answer I ever got, now I am an Atheist and no longer bother to pray.
