My husband likes to gag me sometimes, is this normal?

No, but I would like too. There is nothing wrong here. Although it's not for everyone, lots of people like a little bondage (some like a lot). The thought of you being gagged is both sexy and errotic. I think a little bondage is both fun and very exciting. It has to be with someone you can trust of course (a souse is ideal) and both partners have to enjoy it as well. I think this is cool as long as you like it too or at least, as long as you don't mind it. I think it's hot. I'd love to do something like this with my wife but she hasn't ever shown any interest in any sort of bondage (although she does like if I kind of cover her mouth with my hand aor use a finger sort of as a bit gag. I think an actaul gag and a little tying up would be lots of fun. I also think it should go both ways, sometimes I would get to tie her up and be in control and sometimes she would get to tie me up ... and then I'm at her mercy. I think you could have some fun with this.

Normal is a relative term. As long as you guys are careful, you'll probably have a lot of fun. My husband and I have a rule for these types of situation. We made a pact then whenever one of us says a certain word, that whatever is going on MUST stop whenever that word is said (for safety reasons). I would suggest that the two of you come up with a random word to use in the bedroom that would be totally bizarre so there is no confusion. Have fun!!!

My BF wears a ball gag regularly. I keep him restrained a few times a week, not always when we're having sex, and he always has to wear his ball gag. He's gotten used to it and sometimes I make him wear it overnight.

As long as you're comfortable with it and it doesn't choke you, sure it's normal. I love when my boyfriend sticks his fingers in my mouth and I gently bite down on them to control my moaning. Sounds kind of weird but it's really sexy and a big turn on for both of us!
