i like confidence in a Man. With confidence it doesn't matter what they look like because that confidence gives them this extra something special that sets them apart from all the others and draws me to them. That's what brings me in ... after that the next big thing would be brains and personality. Looks are unimportant in the long haul - and let's face it with the right attitude anyone can be "made" attractive. Please note i said confidence NOT *********. There is a difference.

I agree with Tessie in that (even though I know it SHOULDN'T matter) looks play a part in how attracted a girl is to a guy, but it is a combination of both. Usually personality matters more to me because there are some really good-looking guys that are so full of themselves I wouldn't even consider going out with them, and then there are other guys who I really like and that makes me find them all the more attractive just because their personality shines through. So if you are no Ashton Kutcher, Brad Pitt, or Usher, don't worry, just let your fabulous traits shine!

I go for guys with more of their brains and personalities because you want to get along with them and have lots in common. I'd rather have awesome company with a guy rather than being bored with a good looking guy.
It would be a major bonus if he had great looks too, but I go with more of what's in the inside of a guy first.

hella no, disregard anything u heard about girls liking guys for who they are it aint eva gonna happen.
if they arent attracted to each other physically they aint gonna go and talk to each. but then once the girls get to know the hot guys if they are stupid it ends but if the guy is ugly a weird looking then the girl might be scared or not interested and there is a thicker wall to be broken down.
so basically there are two stages of determining relationship attractiveness, and then personality in that order.

I like looks but what attracts me the most is personality and brains. They may look great on the outside but that can change and it is what is on the inside that counts!!!

The high maintenace women tend to go for the guys with the looks.

I'd say most people go for looks. I'm somewhat shallow like that too. He could have a great personality but if he's a complete eyesore, then forget it...

I lean towards a little bit of both! I don't want a hot guy who's dumb as rocks but I also don't want an ugly dude who's too nerdy....both need to balance themselves in my book.
