The doc said her stitches would dissolve, but I can see some in a little hole in her belly. Will they eventually dissolve, or should I take her back to the vet and rip him a new one?

It probably takes a bit longer for them to dissolve--when you've had a pet at the vets and a possible problem occurs the riht and smart thing to do is to call the VET and they will tell you on the phone whether or not to bring her in. If these stitches are noticeable when she walks ok but o not handle-touch that area until totally healed no open places for your hands esp have so may germs that can infect the surgery site until this cat is totally healed please wash your hands before you pet etc. Call the VET

Just give the vet office a call and ask about the time frame for the dissolving of the stitches.

Call and ask what to do if the stitches haven't
dissolved. Maybe the vet needs to remove a couple.

lol, no dont rip him a new one, if they havent dissolved you can take a pair of tweezers and try pulling them out . only if they are on the surface , they should come out easlily. but if you are not comfortable with that , call your vet and ask.

Call the vet and ask them. They should be able to tell you over the phone if this is something normal or if she should be brought back in.

Don't sweat it: They'll go away.

Now, if you see any sign of infection, a return visit to the vet would be in order.
