There are currently 1052 listings for parrots at Petfinder. Many of these are multiple listings, meaning that Phoenix Landing has one listing for a cockatoo but that one listing represents about 20 birds.
These birds, if on the retail market would go for anywhere from 20 dollars on up to 3000 dollars.
And they don't have homes.
1052 listings. Does that mean anything to you? These are birds that are waiting to be placed. And there aren't enough homes for them.
And you want to breed parrots.
The open-endedness of your question suggests you don't have the first idea of how to go about it.
It's a tricky business. It's hard, precise, exhausting work. It can be heartbreaking and there is no guarantee you will be a success at it. It's also an expensive proposition and you will most likely lose money.
Unless you know what you are doing, do not do it.
How do you feel about getting up every 2 hours around the clock for weeks? You can't go anywhere, you can't do anything because you have to be home to feed the babies. If you don't, they will die.
If you heat the formula too hot, you will burn their crop and the babies will die.
If you feed them to much, they will die.
If you feed them incorrectly and the formula goes into their lungs, you will aspirate them and they will die.
If you keep the incubator too warm,(that's about a 600 dollar investment right there...) they will die.
Too cold? They'll die.
Formula too thin? They'll die. Too thick? They'll die.

These are little lives you want to mess with. And you will just be adding to the problem that is growing exponentially each year. You most likely aren't going to make any money at it, and when you get sick of the whole business, you will have 2 birds that are no longer pets, they're breeders. Former breeders are difficult to bring around to Companion Bird Staus. It can be done, but it's a lot of work.
Please reconsider this idea. It's not worth it from the standpoint of making a profit, and the money you make from the hours you put in; well, you probably won't even make minimum wage.

Please reconsider. There are already so many of these magnificent birds in captivity and suffering. I'm not saying yours are or will, I'm just saying that breeding more may not be the best idea.
You need a mentor.
It is more involved than getting a male and a female. They can be as choosy as people and will violently attack each other if the "chemistry" isn't perfect.
Then there are the babies. A whole host of things can go wrong with them if you don't know what you're doing. Hand feeding (if that's what you intend) is not for beginers. You can drown them if you aren't careful.
Please do lots of research and talk to breeders before you try. You don't want to make any tragic mistakes.

Please don't even think of breeding your birds, many birds are available if you just look. If your bird is attached to you mating it with another bird will put you odd man out. Hormonal parrots can be dangerous as well.
I know some very good breeders and they tell me all the time if they could do it over they would NEVER start breeding their birds, it is very time consuming and can be costly. If you can sell them it's a miracle and if you love the animal do you just sell to anyone with money or are you going to do what's best for the bird?
Please look at the adoption sites before putting more birds out there. Thank you for looking.

i totally agree with Bonslyer. there are so many birds that are abused. People think its the coolest thing 2 have a bird til they have them at home and they get in2 things and make noise, up early, make a mess, have 2 take care of them, cant leave them for more than a day etc...... then they dont wantt them anymore and they abuse the poor birdy for being a birdy!!! so let the other peepz be the evil doers. why dont u do somthing like save the wildlife!!!

I would suggest contacting a breeder in your area and asking them for advice. From what I understand, once they become breeders, they're no longer a pet. It changes them for some reason or other.

And, if you're looking to hand raise the babies to make them tame, you really need a pro to show you how to properly feed them. It's very easy to kill them by getting the formula into their lungs or overfeeding them etc.

Well, you need a boy and a girl parrot of the same species. A nice nestbox and a large cage. Lots of dishes for food and water.

Nice peace and quiet away from staring humans!
