Hey, I am an Asian dude who came to America 4 years ago as a high school 9th grader. For four years of high school life, I met numerous American girls with exotic beauty that I cannot find from my native girls. I was attracted, but I failed to get them due to my horrible attitude.
Am I just an extremely unattractive one?? I want to doubt that since there were about 13 girls who were interested in me, and three of them asked me to go to prom and stuff.
But due to this horrible attitude, girls who were interested in me, I ignored them all, and I said "No" to those who asked me to go to prom. I know that I acted like a real bastard, but I didn't mean to. They still hate me to death. God they are scary. So glad that I am in out of state college.
Several college girls are showing interests on me and I still dunno how to approach to them. Particularly, What should I do when they smile at me extremely long to show their interest?
What kind of talk do they want to have???

I apologize for making my question sound offensive I guess I made this mistake due to my imperfect writing skill.
Girls I ignored,,, they looked at me and smiled at me for few days, and about 2 weeks later, they started to stare at me with malicious eyes. wow, they were real scary.
So, I am trying to get a girl in my huge class, and shall I just seat randomly next to her? I believe it would make look a bit awkward since I seat with my friends all the time.

Boys and girls, I've read several answers that disturb me as much as the original poster. There are quality girls and trashy girls wherever you go, irregardless of country of origin. To the ladies who have posted about what quality American women are, do you really believe the words coming from your mouths? Really? When is the last time you went to a club that's even remotely popular on a Friday or Saturday night. We have just as much trash here as do other countries. On top of that, I've found American women to be much more difficult to get along with. There seem to be far too many rules to the 'game'. I had just about given up trying to find a woman who didn't bring so much emotional baggage and crap to the relationship, when I ran into someone wonderful. Guess what? Not American. What I've seen is American women lean toward the tendency of believing they are golden, down to the very last disgusting bodily function. As has already been stated, there are trash women in every country. You only have to know where to look. And there are also many quality women from each country.

Relax dude. You come of with a lot of bravado but I sense that you are very shy and you try to hide it by having a horrible attitude. Go easy and when they smile say Hi or hello and let the conversation guide itself. Don't be to scared and breathe deep and slow (all the way from your azz up through your nostrils) listen to what they are saying and answer accordingly. If the conversation is lagging ask about their studies or classes or what they do in their off time etc. You gonna be alright.

Your first mistake is the phrasing of your question: you say "how to GET American girls"...we aren't something to be attained, and in a relationship you don't OWN eachother, it's a mutual relationship where there is equality and trust.
Second of all, maybe it's your self-confessed "horrible" attitude, no body wants to be with anyone that has a bad attitude.
Just from this question you seem to be a little arrogant, tone down the attitude, open up to people and be yourself, good luck.

first of all be very charming, girls usually fall for the kind of guy who is sweet and sincere, thats the first thing I noticed about my husband when we first met. Charm really gets you far. Don't be pushy, act confident when approaching her. Listen to what they have to say. If you like a certain girl find out what she is interested in, study her from a distance that way when you approach her to talk to her you will know the things she likes so you have something to talk about. You can also talk to her friends to see what she's into, what kind of guy she likes etc. MOST OF ALL DONT BE cocky, egotistical, arrogant. These are all unattractive qualities that girls dont much go for. Don't be pushy.

Just be yourself. Don't force yourself to talk to them. Most girls, at least the decent ones, just want a nice, cool, and collective guy. Being funny is a big plus. Just ask alot of questions about them. And if they ask about you, be honest. Girls can't stand obnoxious guys who lie about all the stuff they don't have. Such as money and cars. Just be yourself, and relax

well first tell her that u dont have the most perfect attitude and that to tell her to be patient and to tell her that not to be angry when u dont act nicely. and let her know that ur interested. and most importantly try not to be a jerk
