2 lb Lean ground beef
2 Eggs -- lightly beaten
1 c Mozzarella cheese Shredded 4 oz
½c Bread crumbs
¼ c Onion -- finely chopped
2 tb Grated Parmesan cheese
1 Bottle ketchup, regular or hot, 14 oz.
2 tb Cornstarch
1 tb Ketchup
2 ts Worcestershire sauce
1 ts Italian seasoning
1 ts Dried basil
1 ts Salt
¼ts Pepper
1 Jar apple jelly -- 12 oz
1 Jar currant jelly -- 12 oz
SAUCE In a bowl, combine the first 12 ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 10 to 15 min. remove the meatballs and rack; drain. Combine ketchup and cornstarch in roasting pan. Stir in jellies; add the meatballs.Cover and bake for 30 min.

Thai Chicken Meatballs

50 appetizers 1 hour 20 min prep

2 lbs ground chicken
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
4 scallions, finely sliced
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
oil (for shallow-frying)

Mix all ingredients together, except oil.
UIe one tbsp of mixture and form into meatball; repeat.
Shallow-fry the meatball until they are brown and cooked through.
Serve with Wasabi Mayo

"Original Ranch Meatballs" - 2 dozen

1 (1 oz.) packet Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dressing Mix
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. margarine or butter
1/2 cup beef broth

Combine ground beef and dressing mix; shape into meatballs. Melt margarine in skillet; brown meatballs on all sides. Add broth; cover and simmer until cooked through, 10-15 minutes. Serve warm with toothpicks.


"Passover Meatballs" - 6 dozen

2 eggs; lightly beaten
1 cup water; divided
1 1/2 cups finely chopped onion; divided
1/2 cup matzo meal
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lbs. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice

In a large bowl, combine the eggs, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup onion, matzo meal, salt and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1" balls.
In Dutch oven or large pot, combine the tomato sauce, sugar, lemon juice, and remaining water and onion. Add meatballs; bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 45 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Serve with a slotted spoon.

Buy frozen meatballs from Sam's or Walmart. Mix 2 bottles of Heinz Chili sauce and a small jar of grape jelly together in the crockpot. Put meat balls in about 3 or 4 hrs. before serving. This is really good.

500g mince lamb large pinch oregano breadcrumbs an egg finley chopped onion and crushed clove of garlic mix altogether and make into balls. Heat a little oil in fry pan and fry the meatballs gently till cooked. Add two tins chopped tomatoes and heat through meannwhile heat water in saucepan and cook about 2oz spaghetti per person serve spaghetti with meatballs and toms spooned over this serves 4

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c fine dry bread crumbs
1/3 c minced onion
1/4 c mild
1 egg beaten
1 teasp salt
1/2 teasp worcestershire sauce
1/8 teasp pepper
2 tblsp Crisco vegetable oil
1/2 c bottled chili sauce
1 c grape jelly

COMBINE: beef, bread, onion, milk, egg, salt, worcestershire sauce and pepper; mix well. Shape into 1inch meatballs. cook in hot oil over med. heat for 10-15 mins. or until browned. Use paper towels to drain.

COMBINE: chili sauce and jelly in med. saucepan; stir well. add meatballs. simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. SERVE AND ENJOY!!! makes about 5 doz.

Take chopped meat mix with onion soup mix ,shape them into the size meatball you want. Then indent them and place a piece of cheese, You can use jalapeno cheese and close them up reshaping them, Give a quick fry,serve with a Mexican salsa sauce, that you put in the blender to puree. Or make them plain and coat them with grape jelly, and roll them in pancake mix which you add salt, pepper,paprika make the pancake mix a little thicker than usual . and deep fry.serve with ranch dressing, or sour cream mixed with onion soup mix/

make your favorite cocktail meatballs

In a slow cooker

1 16 oz jar grape jelly
1 bottle of Brooks Tangy ketchup

add your meatballs and simmer in a crock pot for about 1 1/2 hours

I know this sounds gross, but it is REALLY GOOD. Cook the meatballs in the oven and on the stove mix whole cranberry sauce and chili sauce. Keep in the crockpot on low, or warm.

make the meatballs as above, people have posted some great recipes, then get some pitta bread or wraps, warm them and split the pitta bread so they it looks like a pocket, then serve with sliced lettuce, grated cheese, mayonnaise or tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes and cucumbers, people can build their own pitta pocket stuffed with whatever they like from the selection.
