With the doctor's permissioin, how do you wean yourself off of medication to the point where your body can function on its own?

This totally depends on the med and what the doc has to say. Dont do it without his advice and careful watch. Even for a low level of medication. Especially if it is something you have been taking and your body is used to.

The Body has in built capacity to work and repair on its own! Though it may take time!
If you want to wean off of Medication you can reduce the amount of Medication with time and start execising and doing Yoga! This will help the Body to work and become Stronger and fight on its own!

If you have the doctor's permission ask the doctor. What medication are we dealing with here? Slowly increase time intervals between the times you take the medication or slowly decrease the dosage; really slow.
