i am 19, considered to be too nice. Is that really that annoying? I dont drink, smoke...is that what drives you away? why do people shun me because im polite and clean?

You just haven't met the right girl yet. You are still young. Would you really WANT to date someone who shuns you because of who you are? No. Maybe you are giving off a desperate vibe. We can pick up on that. Just be yourself. Have confidence in yourself. You already know you are a great guy and a great "catch" so don't change just for the sake of trying to get a girl. By the same token, don't let people run all over you by being "too nice."

Well it's easier to give advice when you know the person but I'll try ......: Don't worry, I think every one has their awkward phase of feeling less than what they want to be or less than how they want other to view them. Ultimately what draws people to you is confidence (not conceit!!! that should be very clear, never braging about anything is key, I can't tell you what a huge turn off that is....not that you are doing that but I don't know you so that's just a tip). Be a good friend to people and I assure you people will come to you. This may sound ridiculous but stand up tall and feel like you ARE somebody important and you don't care if people approach you or not. Don't be invasive when you approach someone, always treat them like you've known them for years. And always remember don't be conceited that is sooooo sooo important!! Keep being polite and clean, that's perfectly fine.

That's not the problem! The problem is that there are so many guys that aren't nice that us women don't know what to do with those of you who are. Don't change though!!! You're only 19, you've got a long time ahead of you. Keep being nice and you'll find someone!

"Clean" people are often seen as prudes. They are uptight, concerned mor with their bodies than with the people they are around. At the same time, it shows that you take proper care of yourself and maybe even the same level of care is reflected on other things in your life. I may be a guy, but if someone else can see ithat way, then sure you're dating material.

Maybe you're dating the wrong type of people. If I was a girl, you'd be the type of guy I'd look for. But I'm a guy =/.
You just need to keep trying. It's rough at first, but eventually you'll get somewhere. The heartache is part of life, mate. You just need to pick yourself up and keep going.

No. I would date you. I would like it better if you didnt drink or smoke. :). Just know the difference between nice and a push-over. Plus, you shouldnt care whatother people think.
