What determines the age of a person when he or she dies or lives? It all comes from God.
The reason why people that are sad and depressed live a long time it's because they are learning, growing from what is causing the depression in there life's...
A baby that dies right after he or she is born is because that is all he or she needed to do here on earth. Receive a body. He or she are wanted in Heaven.......

Each soul has a purpose.
The person's life and the lives he/she touches are affected for the betterment of the human race.
Age can include the years the body has lived, or it can be the wisdom the soul brings to others.
What is age when it comes to a body/mind/spirit? I honestly don't know.
Great question!

There was recently a study on that. There seems to be a sort of equation to determine how long you are going to live, if you die of natural causes. This was too depressing so I just didn't listen to it. But it was published last week or so, so I don't think it's going to be too difficult for you to find the information if you're interested in it.

from the moment we are born we die a little with each hour each day each month, until we die completely. For some it hapends faster, for some suddenly, for others it takes decades. Whatever the reason it's not becasue of what we deserve, I am sure. Death has it's own pattern, and nobody has figured it out, or the funeral home business would have gone out of business.

God alone knows when it is our time to go. The Bible says " Our understanding is not required". When He is ready, Then that is it. We do not understand why an evil man lives a long life and a little one dies so young. We want to understand this, but we will not be able to until we meet our Maker. Then all will be revealed by Him.

The age of a person is determined by their outlook on life and how they feel about themselves, if they are optimistic and have faith they will be timeless. Age only determines how long we have existed , your body is merely a container , but your mind and your spirit has no age.

nature.
health
family health(hereditary)
and to the question of what determines what way death occurs...
well..
if you see a body with no head.. you would probably determine that the person died because of decapitation..
maybe.. what circumstances under which the person died?
