Maybe your friend is lactose intollerant, and then milk to them would be harmfull, but not poison !

A lot of humans cannot digest milk properly, but if you have had no problems the benfits of milk far out weight any poor effects, milk is high in vitamins and calcium, essential for bone growth.

Milk and milk products are great, if you enjoy them dont listen to anyone except good unbiased advice, it has been proved time and time again that dairy products in moderation are beneficial to a healthy life

Drinking cows milks is not a good thing for adults. Eating cheese and yogurt are okay. It depends on your body. Some people have a lactose intolerence and should not have milk products. Some people have milk allergies.

You need calcium. You cannot do without it. These people that cut out dairy often turn to soy milk and soy products for calcium and protein and there is a huge problem with eating soy. Please read link below. I think you can use almond milk as a substitute for milk but if you are diabetic be sure to get the sugar free "milks".

We lose the enzyme needed to digest milk at the age of 3. After than, it is hard for our body to digest it. If the cows are fed with hormones and antibiotics, it definitely is a poison. The other thing is, that it is not natural for a man to drink cows milk. Imagine dog drinking giraffes milk! Thats the same thing :-) However, i drink milk and eat diary products because i see the cows i got my milk from happily eating on the meadow so i know they are kept in good conditions. And i like cheese :-)

It's not poison, but it's certainly not good for humans to drink. Our bodies have not evolved fast enough to take the lactose involved. Most nutritionists, dieticians will tell you to stay away from the stuff as it can cause/aggravate lots of probs, like excema, ulcers, etc etc. I drink goat's milk which isn't the same as cow's milk in it's lactose content. Also, in England/UK at least, cow's milk is mass produced in a pretty grim way! People also worry that they won't be able to get calcium if they stay away from milk, but calcium is in many other things, greens and tahini.

HUMAN milk is vitally important to help growing babies grow and develop. Apparently it can help to boost their immune system and prevent the onset of obeisity or diabetes. There are also benefits too for the lactating mother.
Cow's milk is probably innocuous in reasonable quantities. It is a valuable source of calcium and certain vitamins.. but these can easily be gotten elsewhere..and then there is the milk fat issue. I would not worry..for example, did you know that raw brocolli or spinach contains significant levels of cyanide?.. or that rhubarb is a source of oxalic acid?..don't panic though.. all removed by cooking! Also milk is an excellent remedy for indigestion/heartburn and butter on average more wholesome than margarine!

Dairy milk is required for healthy bones and teeth. People who abstain from drinking milk are usually pale and weak.

Cows on dairy farms live a life of luxury. They sit around in green pastures all day and get milked a few times a week at the most.

Some people object to milk from cows using artificial growth hormones as these hormones may be present in the milk.

Also consider that most cows are now fed corn instead of grass, which is an unnatural food for cows, causing them to grow much faster than normal.

Too, consider that milk is a product that is designed to grow a very large animal, many time our weight.

Otherwise, milk from animals has been a staple food for humans for countless generations, without ill effect. Your best bet is to look for organic milk, which is made from naturally grazing cows without hormones or needless medications.

Drink the milk in my fridge. It expired in March. I'm sure it's poison.

Otherwise, dairy products are only poison to extreme vegetarians.

well if you have milk related intolerance, dairy products may not be the best for you. But i think it's too much to say they're like poison

If it was poison they would not be able to sell it. There are some people that don't believe in eating or drinking dairy, and for them it is a personal choice and they just try to shove it down everyone else's throats.
