I had a friend who was a pilot who helped fly the bodies home. They stank, and he had nightmares for awhile.
He still can't eat pork. They smelled like bad pork.

More than one person lived through the suicide. They ran into the jungle. It was a group madness that came to a sad end. I feel sympathy for the members and the families left behind.
