It depends on the type of soda and the recipe for the mixing but probably 70% is soda water and the rest is a syrup mixture.

Any sodas or colas are not the right kind of water...soda water is not going to keep you hydrated like regular water. Pop has so much sugar in it and it has no nutritional food value to it.
