Mum use to make it a lot when i was a kid

this is the recipe that i have from a C.W.A Cookbook and it is 2 tablespoons of butter, 4 tablespoons os sugar, 6 tablespoons of milk and 8 tablesppons of flour and to combine cream butter and sugar then stir in milk with the flour. Pour into a greased dish and bake in a moderate oven(180 degrees). some variations are grated rind of half an orange with orange sauce. Two tablespoons of jam or golden syrup into the dish then serve with custard or add 1/2 cup of fruit to pudding ie. mixed fruit sultanas or raisins serve with custard or cream. Enjoy!

hmm. are you sure that's the real name of the recipe, or just a cute name your mother came up with? can't find anything about it online.
