Maybe I should have said a True story. The book of Tobit in the Bible. This is one of the books that was left out of the Protestant Bible.

The Book of Tobit is a terrific story ... and it's still part of the original Canon of scripture, courtesy of Jesus' universal, full gospel church.

That's the Catholic Church ... the church with authority given to it by God to make those types of decisions.

I wonder, what authority did the reformers have, and where did it come from, when they chose to remove the Book of Tobit, as well as the other "apocryphal" books from the Bible, especially since the matter had been settled for over a thousand years?

Tobit has no continuance of the Gospel within it. It is nice reading for cultural studies, but holds nothing as far as religious value...

What gives you that idea? There are lots of stories about sacred beings and they arent inspired. But if you really want to know if something is true or not, pray about it.
