Do you mean one of the sons of Shimei (1 Chronicles chapter 8)? I've no idea.
Or, do you mean Berea, the town? The Bereans were the people who were judged to be of more noble character, because they received the message with eagerness, and searched the scriptures to see if what Paul said was true (i.e., they did not blindly accept what what they were told, but searched for evidence).
