These are not caused by physical scrapes and they always seem to have the same appearance. Sometimes there is as many as three running parrallel to each other.

They also seem to end up having scabs. They are very thin 'scratches'

They are roughly between 1 inch to 5 inches long

Red lines can be a sign of infection. Get them check out by a doctor.

Are you sure they arent physical scrapes? The only I can think of is that you did it in your sleep and didnt realize it or someone did it to you.
