The substances that will kill you the quickest are ricein, sarin, VX nerve agent, the cyanides, and phosgene.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned plutonium, the metal itself. not just the bomb.It enters the body through the skin and lodges in bone marrow. Death comes painfully, but not quickly, and there is no known antidote, as there is for some of the nerve agents. Nuclear bombs, of course kill more people faster than even nerve agents.

Deadliest in what sense? Ebola is pretty nasty, but so is VX nerve gas.

But, there's nothing like water. You might be immune or otherwise survive Ebola or VX, but 5 miles of water above is guaranteed to be fatal.
