I am trying to download a new game. After installing, it keeps bringing up "swt3d.exe". What does this mean? I am not that great at computers. I have a laptop that is a few years old that used to belong to someone in a office. So it is not a new one. Thanks!

this error usually occurs if your computer needs updated video cards/ DirectX drivers, if your system failed to meet the minimum requirements that the game reqires in order to properly play it, or if your computer's video card is integrated into your system's motherboard...

This is an "executable" file which means that it initiates some type of activity. I have no idea what it's for. If it's giving you problems, then run anti-spyware to see whether that might get rid of it. If that doesn't, run a registry cleanup program. It might help. Not knowing exactly what the file is for, it's hard to tell you how to handle it.

This is an exe that's part of the game...Now, if you've got a copy of this game, then more than likely the copy protection is in place and preventing you from installing it..Sounds to me you downloaded a bad bootleg copy of it...
