It's not necessarily a "marriage" thing...when a person receives their endowment in the temple, that is when we put on the garments. You must have received your endowment to be sealed in the temple though.
We wear them to remind us of covenants we have made, to keep us remaining modestly dressed, and they are promised to be a physical and spiritual protection for us.
they are comfortable, i like them.

Those members (Mormons) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having been married and sealed together in one of God's temples, wear the temple garments as a constant reminder of the sacred covenants they took.

To explain further is not permitted because of the sacredness of the ordinances and covenants made. Such questions as yours are curiosities and do not merit complete answers.

There garments and are believed to protect them from harm. Similar to what the Buddhist believe with wearing a Buddha charm.

It is a basic belief of that church. More advanced mormons have to wear the garments after they go to their temple and "earn" a certain status via a certain ceremony. As for why, well that would depend on who you ask. They would claim it was a protection from evil. I would say it is a reminder to them wherever they are that they are on a leash that ties them to the church and they will pay dearly if they do not behave as the church wants them to.

First we don't HAVE to wear them, it's a choice. Second, we were them to remind us of the sacred covenents that we made in the temple.
