This was said by an Muslim Historian, who said best religion is Islam and the worst people are its followers the Muslims, not every single one but comparing to Christianaty , Jews, and oda relgions, Muslims seem to be the ones in turmoil, and its there own fault, they fight between themselves, think about money, are selfish, and thats why God is punishing them, it might sound harsh but i belive it has an element of truth in it, The Christian world seems more cilvilsed then the Islamic way unfourtunely i must say.

Muslims are messed up in the world, most people agree with me, u look around muslim countires, Bosnia, Iraq, Kashmir, Afghaistan, Sudan. Kosovo, i can on and on, and u see the pattern, we seem to let the West take advantage of us, In muslim countries no money no1 wants to know u, this is all gods doing cuz he is punishing us cuz we dnt do what Islam askes of us to do, we fight amongst ourselfes I.E. Iraq, Afgahnistan, etc, we think about money and get corrupted, we dnt build military to defend ourtselves though we got the brain but instead wnana spend it oin oda things etc, u see thnink about it, it make sense, Born Muslims dnt follow der relgion properly.. the prper religions of Islam are the converts, now you compare the Christian world, its not as corrupt as the Muslim world, not every single Muslim is bad but comparing the rest and the proof , evidecen suggests it.

No, I don't agree Islam is the best religion. Basically, the original teachings of Islam is the same as the original teachings of Christianity. So if Islam is the best, then what about Christianity?

Talking about Muslims, which Muslims are you referring to? The Arab Muslims or the Chinese Muslims? There are millions of Chinese Muslims in China that don't resort to terrorism.

The one to be blamed is NOT Muslims, or Christians, or Jews, etc BUT the human race itself that always seem to misunderstood every teachings of God's prophets.

Have this Muslim historian ever studied Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and Zen? If he/she does, honestly and open-minded, then I can bet he/she will never say Islam is the best religion.

And the worst followers are the human race itself. Even the best religious and spiritual teachings can be ruined by human ignorance.

I agree with you, and what's worse their turmoil is spilling all over the world, like now France and UK And of course as human nature dictates is always somebody else's fault, the Israelis (because they dont have a right to exist in the middle east and in the words of the pres of Iran must be "pushed back into the sea, I recommed you read the translated version of his speech, "interesting").

And last but not least, the usual punching bag, the good ole USA
the biggest shaitan of the corrupted western society. Talk about tolerance and building bridges.....

They are trying really hard in playing the "my religion is better than yours game" and have pulled the victim card way too many times. They'll tell you that these horrible things happen because those violent perpetrators are not REAL MUSLIMS, or are not interpreting the Koran properly, or is the western greed for oil, just excuses for the violence everyone sees they do to even their own selves.

I think they're not any worse than anyone else. All faiths seem to offer examples of unsavory types among it's adherents. I think it's true that we probably shouldn't judge a religion based on the actions of those who act in ways unfavorably because they've not embraced it properly sometimes even using their religion to justify the things they do which, in fact, are actually contrary to their chosen faith. It's rather remarkable how humans seem capable of being able to rationalize practically anything for the sake of suiting their own agenda's.

The Islamic religion is split right down the middle according to Islamic scholars, it has a good side and it has an evil side, I believe God is punishing them because they are following a false prophet, and Gods persecution towards them is probably going to escalate if they do not change their ways and start worshipping the one true prophet our lord Jesus Christ where all true prophesy and wisdom started.

This makes no sense to me. If Islam is the best religion then Muslims would be the best people/followers and you said it yourself, they're not. I'm not saying that all Muslims are bad people, but they're not the best either. No one is. Nobody's perfect.

Religion is best when it's followers are true! I suppose there is much truth in the historians perspective. With mutual respect, much can be learned.

the faulty part of your logic is that "god" punishes..
people do the punishing, stop making god into a petty tyrant
that needs to reward and punish humans..it's childish and
shows a lack of understanding what the concept of creator is
