The structure of a person's hair generally changes dramatically every 7 years. A reason for stunted growth is probably just a result of aging. What you can do is keep the water going, moisturizing from the inside out makes a HUGE difference. Another thing to do is when you go for your trim, avoid taking off legnth, and use legnthy layers around the jaw and neck to make the hair's appearance pull down. Surprisingly, a lot of legnth can come from texturizing and layering. But good luck and be patient.

really you cant speed growth without taking vitamins no matter what you wash it with but if u brush it carefully and moisturize, treat it well then it will keep as much length as possible. excessive trimming only keeps it short so there isnt any need for that. the speed of growth for your hair is set for you and nothing but a chemical change can change that so trimming will just make it shorter. still, losing split ends is nice. layers will make it look longer now or extensions but otherwise, let it grow.

Trim it evenly and that makes it grow faster too. Also do try the prenatal vitamins or cod liver oil pills those work.

my hair is shiny, healthy and past my bottom. my secret? all you have to do is be REALLY really really careful when you brush your hair, or else you'll break your hairs. when this happens your hair can't grow properly; instead you have split ends. also, be sure to shampoo and condition your hair at least every other day(sunsilk hair products work really well).good luck!

Just a little time and patience and a good conditioner, and you'll have your long hair back.
