There shouldn't be any reason why an experienced stylist cannot cut your hair curly, that you have to straighten in before getting it cut, no matter how unmanageable you think it is! Also, are you getting it cut on a regular basis? That makes a big difference in healthy hair. Make sure your using a quality shampoo and styling products that won't dry your hair out. And, as they mentioned above any heat styling such as straightening will further damage your hair. If you do use a flat iron you should definitely use a ceramic one.

So, get a cut and keep it healthy! Hope that helped!

How are you straightening it? Hot curling irons ...hot chemicals...hair brushes...all cause damage to the hair. Try using a comb...letting air dry and go natural. There is also a vitamin hair treatment that comes in a spray that you can spray on when wet or dry and leave in.

it may be the way you are strighting your hair ;the wrong type of brush and over blow drying may be the cause of you split ends.also if you ware your hair up.use clips not rubberbands .try useing a brush with a pourslin center it will spread heat evenly and a dryer that has a cold shot cool each section
