Prophet Mohammed just wanted to find execuses to fight Jews and Christians. Yes, Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God, but the story about Ezra, for the most part, is a big lie...Or God is a lier, or Mohammed is a false prophet....

The Jews call `Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah.... ....This phrase comes directly from Koran. It is obviuos that Mohamad wrote the Koran, not God. the Jews means all jews, just like the christians means all christians. I dont think God made such a big mistake....Koran never said some of the Jews, or some of the Christians. He clearly meant ALL.....

During Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) days, Yathreb (where he lived) was half Jewish. It was never narrated that Yathreb's Jewish had any objection on this verse of Quran at that time. Also, I've read somewhere that Jewish in some parts of Ethiopia still believe that Ezra is son of God. Unfortunately, I don't have references so you can just reject what I'm saying.

Islam is based on the 5 fundamental pillars of Islam we get this from the Quran and Hadith. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was asked whilst in Medinah (before being known as Prophet) was asked to settle the dispute of the blood shed in Madina and guess who where fighting. Two clans that Jews become a part of. Please study about pre-Islamic Arabia as it seems you have little knowledge.

MIKE K all of what you have said is made up, if it isnt then why arnt 1.4 billion Muslim obeying the Quran and saying that Allah has a child (astahfriulla=Ya Allah please forgive me)?

You making this all up! the translations of the Quran are actually one individuals summarised points as just one world of the Quran can mean a full paragraph in explanation into English.

Another misconception.

Can the asker confirm the word "ALL JEWS".
No U can't..because there is no word ALL JEWS.

There was a sect in Jews at that time which considered Ezra(peace be upon him) as Son of God.Not Jews considered him that.

What Koran refers is to that sect!

It is obvious that the Quran lied about that. mohammed was angry that his made up religion trying to reconcile Christianity and Judaism and mix it in with his own tribal concoction wasn't enticing to believing Jews and so he chose to libel Jews to do so.

there was a jewish group who believes in this.
but if you claim that jewish don't believe as christian do that God has a son, then what will you say about the children of God?

the 'righteous who live in Yemen believed that 'Uzayr was indeed the son of God.' According to other Muslim sources, there were some Yemenite Jews who had converted to Islam who previously had believed that Ezra was the messiah.

to A Muslim

that's still news to me! As a student of Jewish history I have never heard of any Jewish group the worshiped Ezra as divine during his lifetime or after.

If you could please give me one source outside the Koran to conferm what it is saying...
