so say you fill up a shot glass and dumped into a coffe cup how many shots would it take to fill the coffe cup? i would try but i dotn have a shot glass.

A Measured Shot is 1 oz. A shot glass is about 1 and little extra, depending on who made the glass, but a measured Shot is 1 ounce. Get a measureing cup and you can do it. If the coffee mug is an 8 ounce mug, it will hold 8 shots. And so on.

Ok, a shot glass is one and a half ounces. So, take the number of ounces your coffee cup is (and boy do they vary!), divide it by 1.5, and voila! There's your answer on how many shots it'll take to fill up your coffee cup! Have a great day!

About 8! shot glass is a jigger. a jigger is close to an oz. a coffee cup is close to 1 cup. 1cup is 8oz
