A common misconception is that Jehovah's Witnesses go from door-to-door because they feel it is their duty to "recruit". In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses would go from door-to-door even if there were no hope that anyone would change their religion, or even if no one would listen to them!
That is because Jesus Christ specifically assigned the house-to-house ministry to the Christian congregation, with no regard for specific results.
(Luke 10:1,2) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.
Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to direct attention to the bible, and move on when their message is unwanted. Since each congregation in the United States tries to call at every home in its territory at least twice each year, there is strong motivation for them to move on where little interest is shown. Also, the Scriptures help the Witnesses to expect little interest from most:
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seem ? doesn't have the whole story. I saw it in the group. P copied it. I understand your question here. Maybe some should listen more One thing, People should get the whole story first before they rant. Did they read your post at all? That should show there was more obviously there. Unless they are going to try to deny it. More of the innocence victim act. To many saw it. And the deletes copied before they were gone. We were watching with interest. Some don't have any idea want was all included here. Kind of funny in a way, You don't see some go that far to try to save their own face when it's a dirty. I agree on fear. It would have been just as easy for her to drop it to begin with. Or even after a few remarks post and comments. Just say I might have been a little mistaken. Calling others ruiners when it wasn't ruined just answer the question, emotional when who was showing all those emotions with their posts and comments? Twisters, and everything else. Some people don't know when to quit. The only gossip I expect are those connected to her What a story. I think some can't be fair when their highly bias toward what ever clique they are in. Oh the few good ones can. But some it is about well there with me more than if it's fair or not. That's pathetic. Some others may have a point there they see that enough and they think it's everyone connected. You almost understand why they say what they do. It's not though I think one are two are saying some people should just take some things over and over from some that were in the open and let others piss on them if they want, that's a molehill in their eyes. And no one should say anything or your being impolite and making a mountain out of it. Makes no sense at all. Who knows if they knows the whole story or not. Probably didn't bother to get it, but many of us do. And that's a keeper for the records. Several wanted to jump in. We seen enough to say stop Since I know some like yourself don't usually do stuff like this, maybe some should take the blinders off and ask why more than some did. And answer the question. LOL just thought about it, didn't she say that to the first one. Forgot her name offhand. T something I think--told her to answer the question. Wonder if that applies here too? Than she got upset that someone questioned things first before jumping in. Because they do like to know whats going on before they take a side, to be fair. Oh no, you shouldn't do that, Crazy I have no qualms about if someone wants to start trouble, I'll be glad to give it back. Some know what fair is, and some say they do but don't practice it. As I group what I am seeing on the whole right now and I know they are not going to like I am saying this. Nothing negative. Many seem to forgot what fair and right judgement means. That is what many are seeing on the outside looking in. It often isn't fair with some Do we have fault of course. So I guess we shouldn't hold them to any higher standards. Confuses me, one hand they want you too and on the other they don't. Which is it? Some don't waver, you know where they stand. Even if joking or replying to their Apostates in a certain manner. You still know you can get some honest fair treatment. Few as they maybe. Those are the only ones that matter. That's all I got to say. Hey look one changed their whole question ! I'll be darn. Change their whole tune. That's okay believe me it needed changing. Now you see them now you don't. Oh and calling all to stay away. A newbie too. Boy if that doesn't seem suspicious. I understand that, I do, on the same hand sometimes there should be an exception o the rule. Be fair . I think most of the post is about that. Can you do that? No one is trying to divide anyone. Don't even throw that out there. There just saying a little correction even from others isn't always a bad thing but well needed. Perhaps you can understand that newbie.

The Watchtower is the most publicized magazine in the world. IN NO WAY would they allow an "unbeliver" to "edit" their magazine, ever!!! I know, I grew up a Jehovah's Witness (I am not one now), but I still respect them and I can tell you, ONLY a witness or a member of the governing body would be allowed to approve the stories printed in their publications! In no way would they chance a non-believer putting out an article that didn't fulfill Christ Jesus words and works to go thru and be published.
Since you don't have an "accurate knowledge" at least according to them, you would not be allowed into their printing building, much less to work on it, I find it totally laughable that you even considered this idea. Its like you expecting to get a job as Choir Director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, what a funny idea! Jehovah's Witnesses are good, kind and generous people, but they are just that, people. And like any other people they have their faults. However, when it comes to "the Truth" of the Holy Scriptures there IS NO ROOM FOR ERROR and they must STAND BY WHAT THEY SAY and be able to justify what they SAY FROM THE BIBLE. If they cannot prove it from the Bible, they do NOT SAY IT! EVER! They do not think what they "want to believe," they believe WHAT THEY BIBLE SAYS! Even if its not as fun or pretty as what someone wants to believe. By beliving only what can be proven from the Bible, they all believe the same thing. This is why when you ask 2 witnesses (at different times, even moths apart) the same question, you may get not only the same answer, but the same scriptures quoted to you. Its not because they are brain washed, they are not. But because the Bible is "quite clear in its meaning" and to easily answer your question where you can understand (and not drown a noob in Bible scriptures, quotes and facts) they just give the easy versions, which is usually the same.
Again, the Watchtower and Awake are the most printed magazines in the world with issues estimated at around 56,000,000 per issue. I doubt they need your help.

They don't recruit. The army recruits. Witnesses search for people whose hearts are seeking a change. They see all that is wrong with the world and feel that most Christian religions are not addressing those concerns. They want to be more knowledgeable about the Bible, but find most churches only preach at you and not teach.
How do they find these people, by the personal touch, just as Christ and the Apostles did. If a person is violently opposed to them, does that mean the effort is worthless. No. My stepfather was violently opposed to the witnesses coming around to study with my mother. He use to burn he books. He's now been a witnesses for over 40 years. Why did she begin studying? She did as a result of ordering two sets of books. The Bible Stories for us kids, and the Encyclopedia Britannica for my older sisters. She noted that in the Bible Stories, the Ark is represented as a boat, but in the Britannica, it said it was a box. That got her to questioning what else didn't quite fit the facts. If it was so unimportant to get the small things rights, how can you trust the big ones?

I actually can't recall the picture you are referring to. The pictures or illustrations compliment the content of the topic. Perhaps you will appreciate the pictures more if you read the articles. I do try to read the articles on a regular basis, the information is presented in a way that is understandable to both educated as well as lay people. And bible based indeed. Scripture are cited as well as quoted, we encourage people to reference the scriptures with their own bibles. We recognize that there are quite of bit of fallacies concerning us; as was true with the early Christians, and as Jesus prophesied would be the case as well as the identifying mark of true Christians. (remember: no part of the world and because of this you will be hated..). However the comment that was made that Jehovah's Witnesses are not charitable, is really not so, think about it, love of God and neighbor moves us to voluntarily, on our own time, during all kinds of weather; bring the massage of "good news", to people. We also offer free bible studies; this is always a good idea, especially considering the misconceptions people have concerning our beliefs. And no we do not force our beliefs upon anyone. We share the bible teachings, what one chooses to do or not do is their decision. I hope this helps.

The Watchtower magazine announces Jehovah's Kingdom
using hundreds of scriptures in every issue to show
that the rulership of Christ is a reality.
He is head over the Christian congregations of
Jehovah's people thruout the world.
and, we welcome his guidance
Most people say the Lord's Prayer, but can never answer
any questions about GOD's Name, or HOW/WHEN the
KINGDOM COMES (Dan 2:44) What happens during the
Great Tribulation? God's Great Day?
How is it Good News?
What this will mean for the Earth, etc
As if it doesn't matter~ Is that prayer mere rote?
If you pray for something all your life, shouldn't you
have knowledge about the subject?
Shouldn't you be WILLING to demonstrate faith,or
SUPPORT the GOOD NEWS by sharing it with others?
The WT illustrations/pictures are used much in the same way
Jesus used vivid figures of speech/parables & illustrations.
And... JW's are POLITICALLY NEUTRAL!

i was raised by a mother who used her religious believes as a weapon of control. she attended church when she was doing good and did not when she was doing bad. in contrast the Jehovah witnesses practise what they preach, and they do all preach in one manor or another. be it in bible studies, going door to door, on in friendly conversations with people on the street. there is no double standards. the do their good deeds in private so as to not make a public sceptical of themselves. i wish all of our society could act and talk like they did. it truly would be a different world. the do attack organized religions and their false teachings. because they do the churches branded them a cult and have spread lies and Misters about them. their teaching and preaching is bible based and if it cant be verified by the Bible it is researched out in historical documents for further verification of it. in most cases history discloses the truth about the thing they are researching. i give hats off to those who are members but i can and will say as an organization they can be as political and by-est as any other.

convincing you there is going to be a paradise earth
there is no burning hell
and that only jehovah'switnesses will survive the great tribulation
letting you know, now that you know the "truth" you really don't have a choice; but to study more with the witnesses and become one yourself
and all along your thoughts are changing
you no longer will celebrate holidays
birthdays
and all your thoughts are changing
your robe is being washed clean

They teach people what the Bible teaches and then let them decide what they want to do with thier lives. I think you are reading too much into those pictures as pictures are used in thier publications to illustrate what is being taught in the article.
They don't use tv to promote thier beliefs...thats the Mormons mostly.

Love. Genuine love.
We volunteer to help people to learn more about the bible in our own time using our own resources. No charges to the people, and we are not paid. If the person studied for some time and wish to stop, we respect their decision and would stop studying with him/her. We are happy to help people who are truly in need. We are people who truly believe in peace, so we don't go to war. Although many despise us and are rude to us, we follow Jesus' command to "love your enemy" by praying for them and not giving up on them. We are willing to risk our own lives for our brothers and sisters. In times of disasters, Jehovah's Witnesses are the first ones out there to help out, first to find all the brothers and sisters, then help out the neighbors.
We believe in true love, based on Godly principles, and we try our best to practice it.
