I really feel like I need to vote this time around, but have no idea where to start. I am very up to date and informed on the issues, but this is my first time voting. Where do I go to make sure I am registered, and does it matter where in the city I go to vote? For example, I think that I registered when I got my license; if so, I lived in a different county when I registered. Do I need to re-register, how does it work? :)

It is too late to register for this upcoming election, that must be done 30 days in advance. If you think you are registered then go to the polling place on election day in the precinct where you would have been registered, (the address where you lived when you registered) your name will be in the registrant log. If so, you can vote.

Once you are registered you need not re-register unless you move.

Depending on your area, check with your local city clerk's office to help you decide where to go to vote and should have the requirements to register.
