I'm doing a book report for my health class on eating disorders and I have to cover all of them. The only one I can't find any info on is girls who take laxatives to lose weight. How does that work?

Laxatives dehydrate the body by pulling extra water from the tissue to soften the stool. Basicly they get diarrhea and lose water weight. This is not safe and can even be deadly. Sounds to me like anorexia to me. There is also bulimia. This is where someone eats and then vomits it up to keep from gaining weight.
