ok i have straight hair and i have always wanted it curly. is there anyway that i could get it curly without getting a perm?

Other than getting a perm (bad idea!), using a curling iron is the only way.

split ur hair into two portion after shampooing
roll each portion into a tight bun( do it when it is wet)
u can then go to bed with it....when u wake up in the morn it will be curly.....no combing!!
