You might have Tourette syndrome/obsessive compulsive disorder. This falls under anxiety disorders. Does your mind race? Do you have a hard time going to sleep because you are thinking of a hundred things?

An antidepressant can really help. That is all I have found to help. There are doctors that think medicines like Haldol help but they just slow your brain and body down. Zoloft is very safe. It takes at least 2 weeks for an antidepressant to start working. It was such a relief to finally be able to relax. You don't have to be depressed for Zoloft to work. It helps problems like you have.

Nervous ticks most often are triggered by stress. There are meds that can help if serious enough. See a doctor... good luck!
