I am 4ft 11in and 18 years old. I used to be petite at 93 lbs but for the past few years I have gained weight. I've always loved to eat and had never really had to watch what I ate. For the past couple years I've been around 110 lbs. In which isn't bad but I wasn't happy with it. But in just one month I've gained another 10lbs. And my BMI is now 24 when it used to be 22. I'm close to being considered overweight. It's extremely embarrassing. I can only fit into one pair of jeans and a pair of jogging pants. My other pants are extremely tight so I have to wear a big shirt to cover it up. I just don't know how I can gain so much weight in so little time. I am also a vegetarian. Did my metabolism slow down all of a sudden? Please help!

Just because you are a vegetarian doesn't mean you are never going to gain weight you still have to watch what you eat. And us unlucky ones gain weight as we get older. Just take a look at what your eating, and how much exercise you are getting. And fix what you think needs some improvement. It could be your metabolism. If you are that concerned see your doctor.

Your metabolism is probably changing a little, but that wouldn't explain such rapid weight gain. Have you started drinking? I know that my freshman year in college I started drinking alcohol, and I gained about 10 pounds just from those extra calories.

# 1 You should not eat any meals after nine at night.
# 2 You should not lay down after a heavy meal or any meal at all. # 3 Last try to excercise or take walks after meals or put a muzzle on it!!!!
