When Tito faught Chuck he was at the top of his game. He hasn't faught anyone in the last 2 years to show he deserves a title fight. He barely beat Forrest Griffin. Tito needs to beat Babaloo or even Rishad Evens but then that wouldn't make for a good ppv, as far as Dana making more money...
Chuck is going to kick his ***. Like he did the first time.

I agree, Tito has improved since than. The training regimen in Big Bear is legendary. His ground and pound is in top form right now. He appears to be incredibly focused, with unmatched stamina.
Chuck has been on fire, knocking out 6 in a row. His take down defense is arguably the best in MMA. He kicks better than people think, and, he's an excellent wrestler.
I think Ortiz will pose a much greater challenge this time around. He seems primed for this opportunity. Though, ultimately, I believe Liddell will stop him, but not until he knows he was in a fight. This should be a war.

Vegas says Liddell...in a big kinda way. He's a -225 and Tito is at +200. meaning if you bet on Chuck you gotta bet 225 to win 100 but if you bet on Tito you bet 100 and win 200. Tito has improved in every aspect of MMA since the last fight. But I'm going to go with the oddsmakers and say Liddel. 5th round knock out. Tito hasn't had to go more then 2 rounds in a long time.

Yeah Rockhound! I am a former Mustang and used to train with Chuck at SLO Kickboxing. When Chuck was trying to get the first fight with Tito, Tito was ducking him. So he knew, back in the day, that he didn't have the tools to beat Chuck.
Nothing since has shown me that Tito has improved enough to beat him. His standup was sloppy against Griffin and he barely won. Tito's recent opponents aren't nearly as impressive as Chuck's. Tito has a great ground game and great conditioning, but has that mattered to Chuck lately?
On December 30th, we will see that Tito's ground and pound skill won't matter. He'll have to get past Chuck's standup and takedown defense, which are world class. Chuck KO in the 1st.

I like both fighters, but i'm going with Tito. Both fighters have improved a lot, but I think Tito is more hungry since he wants the belt back and revenge. Tito easily beat the crap out of Forrest, and Tito was injured, thats why it ended the way it did. That fight would have ended faster if Tito was 100%. Also, the first time Tito fought Chuck, Tito's emotions got to him after him and Chuck were no longer friends or training partners. Hopefully Tito has improved his striking, its going to be hard to take Chuck to the ground.

I like Tito but I think I'm gonna have to go with Chuck on this one. Like everyone else has mentioned, Tito hasn't really fought anyone at Chuck's level since the last time Chuck knocked him out and he barely got past Griffin. Good luck Tito...

Tito has improved a lot, but who of real significance has he fought recently? Forrest is good (and should have won that fight, but the biased judges gave it to the bigger name), but he's not great, and he's beaten an over-the-hill veteran who only had one win in his last 6 fights, and that win was over a guy who's not that good.
I have to pick Chuck over Tito in a fight that will probably be an instant classic.

I like both fighters, I have noticed that Tito did improve since his last fight with chuck but chuck has been improving as well. Chucks last fights have all been with extraordinary wrestlers, and he is one him self. I don't think titos ground game will play that much in the fight. I think tito will have to improved his stand up game greatly to even have a chance at beating chuck.
I agree with that Asian girl: Forest won that fight.

Tito's ground and pound technique won't work because Chuck is also a former wrestler and he knows how to avoid take downs. Tito is not a very good stand up fighter so Chuck will knock him out again.

Chuck with out a doubt.
Lets look at facts:
last 6 fights have all ben against wrestlers, Tito included. (yes babaloo is predominately a wrestler.) And he creamed them, he is a wrestler killer. Awesome stand up skills and one of the best sprawles in the game (if Randy couldn't keep him down the last 2 fights, who can?). Chuck is arguably
Pound for pound one of the best stand up fights in the ufc.
Now Tito, people are saying he has improved? I don't think so at all. I think when he last fought Chuck he was a lot better then. He just beat shamrock twice which isn’t very impressive seeing as shamrock has lost his past 7(?) fights and over the hill. He got really lucky on his decision over forest gryphon. And Chuck is better than forest.
Chuck with a 1st round knock out in my opinion.
