Heat skillet to 300; you want it to cook slower. Put some olive oil or veg. oil about two tablespoon. Lay the meat in the skillet. You do not have to brown the meat but if you want to it is okay.

Take an envelope of Lipton Onion soup and sprinkle on the meat and in the skillet. Add one cup of water and one cup of red wine or white wine or beef broth or two cups of water. After one hour turn the meat and check for tenderness. You want to cook this long and slow so it will almost fall apart.

You can add some pepper on top and later in the cooking you can add carrots, potatoes, green peppers, onions or whatever. You will cook the meat covered about 2 hours, depending on the thickness and size of the meat. Put carrot and potatoes hunks in one hour before serving.

To make gravy. Take the meat and veg out of the skillet and cover to keep warm. Put 3 tablespoons of cornstarch in a cup with 3 or 4 tablespoons of water and dissolve. Turn the heat in the fry pan on high. When the juices in the pan come to a boil then add the cornstarch mixture and stir this will thicken the gravy. If you want the gravy thicker add 2 more tablespoons of cornstarch in a little water and add. Boil until thick then serve over meat and veg - Delicious and so simple always tastes good.
