I hit a wrong button on the remote and my tv just keeps going through all the channels even when I turn it off and back on it still does it. Any ideas?

You've got a stuck remote button...man...

Bang the remote against your head several times (just kidding)

If you can't get it unstuck, there are a lot of universal remotes out there you can use in place of it that are pretty cheap...some less than $10.

You may have switched it from TV to cable and then hit Scan channels?

be sure no longer something like an equipment is on close to it (even telephones, cellular telephones, routers....etc) be sure there are no decorations close to it (they may well be magnetic) be sure audio equipment are a methods sufficient away!! If it relatively is an older television the tube may well be on it relatively is way out, yet generally you will see indicators slowly, no longer right this moment!

Remove the battery from the remote, and see if it stops...Ive had buttons stick down, and keep transmitting...its infared, so you cant see it.

find the menu or setup button... go into channels and look for autoscan or something to that effect and turn it off.
