to lighten ur elbows and knees , you need to apply lemon juice on them and then wash it off after 10-15 minutes with normal water....for a glowing face you need to apply some home made stuff like a paste or sandalwood mixed with some rosewater to make your face glow and to make it flawless......or a mixture of honey and lemon juice which will make your skin very very smooth.
but if you dont want to make a paste at home just was your face with clean and clear face wash cuz its really good but it definately wont work wonders like the above mentioned pastes would!

If you are dark skinned it is natural for your knees and elbows to be darker, it's inherited. If you aren't using self tanners or anything like that you might buy a skin lightener cream and just put small amounts on those areas and smooth it out even. For the fave use witch hazel from wal mart or the dollar store. Costs 1-4 buchs, it's a natural astringent and PH balances the skin on your face, especially if you have any oil or pimples, great for any skin. For all over smoothness always put Epsom salts in the bath water and if you take showers put baby oil on a washcloth and wipe your whole body as soon as you turn the water off. It holds in the moisture. Good luck.

For your elbow and knees, you should try a pumice stone or a scrub with pumic in it...you could also try a salt or sugar scrub as well. The key is using a good moisturize, maybe one with lactic acid. Both walmart and target see all the aforementioned products. As far as your face is concerned try a buff puff when you cleanse your face, and/or also use a a scrub to exfolliate any dead skin.

I personally use the facial scrubs on my knees and elbows along with my neck area, plus afterward i put on a moisturizer to keep it feeling and looking smooth, another area that concerns me is my underarm areas I also do the same and it gives it a nice natural color nothing gross or dark look

Rubbing lemon juice on the darker areas of skin will help lighten it to match the rest of your body. Keep your skin well moisturised and exfoliated. Put suntan lotion on everyday to look after your sking but put a higher SPF on your knees and elbows.

You should start using sun screen on the areas affected when you go out. There are a number of skin clinics that treat this and it possibly will be the safest way. They say buttermilk has a bleaching effect. It will also not have any side effects.
