The governing bodies, judicial systems, politicians etc. have set the better mores of all nations into a downward spiral. But the salt of the land, the common ever day working stiff still believes in God and common courtesy. No the whole nation hasn't lost it's morals, but you need to roll back some of the silliness and immoralities of the leaning left if you want to keep it "God save".

fake. people have not lost their ethical compass. There are consistently exceptions needless to say. this is why we've prisons. American POLITICIANS, in specific those interior the federal government, have lost their ethical compass. this is as a results of multiple components including an overpowering want for potential and theirchronic to maintain it. This demands that any morality that they had while they have been elected to place of work be placed aside to delight the main voters available. this is almost with out exception. Our present day presidential applicants are top examples of politicians who attempt to delight all and sundry mutually as committing to no longer something, regardless of their ethical upbringing or the values (hopefully) taught to them by skill of their mom and dad.

No, that is not true. But as far as people in the public light they have not lost their morals so much as killed them off.

With the midterm election in 6 days, the ads have gotten really furious and immoral in many cases. The one that sticks in my mind though is for a bond issue and starts out with "What's in it for me? That's what you ask first, isn't' it?"

It makes that assumption, and if they are correct, then yes, we have lost our morals as a country.

The first question in any election should be "What's good for the country?"

We have certainly lost the moral high ground we liked for so long to claim we occupied. It will take generations to win it back.

No. everybody has a code of morals, even if they are depraved, their morals may not be agreeable.
But we all have them. Agree on what they should be?? No, but we are a free nation and free to be different.

I would say in some areas they are slipping away. I think there is a trade off to being "really open minded" and staying in touch with God.
