Most people say it's to wake them up, or do you just like the taste of mocha/chocolate. And why are there so many Starbucks stores, doesn't one coffee taste the same as all the rest?

Cos coffee is yummy! AND it has caffeine. AND it helps prevent Type 2 diabetest.
As far as taste, it is like wine - if you care to notice, there are many different flavors of coffee even if you don't add any flavors at all. In fact, the flavor is more detectable if you don't add other flavors.
So, in review: It tastes good. It adds zip to your day cos of caffeine. It is actually good for you - it helps prevent Type 2 diabetes and has also been shown to reduce risk of some cancers. Need I say more??

No, not all coffee's taste the same. I'm drinking a Starbuck's pumpkin spice latte right now. When different flavors are added, the base (coffee taste) is complimented with whatever flavors are added. I drink coffee for the taste, and the warmth. I usually just drink it in the fall and winter months.

There is a huge difference in coffees depending on where the bean was grown, how long it was roasted, what it was blended with, etc.
Coffee connoisseurs are like wine, cigar, or scotch connoisseurs, they can tell if the bean was grown on a blue mountain, or if it was shat out of a hamsters butt. Personally, I can only tell if it's a light or dark roast.
I drink coffee because I am addicted to caffeine, and if I don't have my cup of joe, I get a headache in the afternoon.

Coffee consists of caffeine which leads to insomnia. During sleepless nights, Avoid “Trying to Sleep” the more you try, the more frustrating it can be. Read a book on a warm light and go to bed only when you feel you’re drowsy. Drink limited water so it doesn't bother you while sleeping.. Dun worry..Take care

Some of us have a physical dependency for it.
And no, not all coffee is the same. Some are much better in flavor the others. If I have to have it I want the good stuff.

people like coffee because: it is hot, it taste good, and caffine is a legal drug that actually does give you a jolt. starbucks has a great gimic and no all coffee does not taste the same.
