The table in my book lists 1 cup of raw diced celery as containing 20 calories, so you would have to do a lot of chewing in order to burn 20 calories.

Just about! There are a lot of foods similar to this they are almost all vegetables and include the real salad stuff. Lettuce, Cucumbers, pickles (although watch the salt content and water retention) Celery as you already mentioned and Mushrooms. But if you go and salt them, or put dressing on them you loose much of their advantage.

yes, eat as much celery as you want, it has negative calories because the calories are burned off during digestion. its the best food ever.

Yeah! how awesome is that? cucumbers and celery and i'm not sure what else are negative in calories. they have a lot of water in them too so they help make your skin clear too:) love it!
