A hot bath will help, if you can't do that then a hot shower with the water spraying on your back. Also, take Aleve or something along those lines for the pain. Something else that is also good is putting warm, moist heat on it....15 minutes on...15 minutes off. Other than that unfortunately it will take time for the soreness to go away. You can also do some LIGHT stretching...that helps also.

Drink lots of water before, during, and after your workout. This will prevent the lactic acid from settling into your muscles, causing them to be sore.
But since you are sore now, you should try to give yourself a massage or have someone else do it and take a hot bath with epsom salts.

If you have access to a hot tub. They are great for sore muscles.. They relax you too. Also U could try a massage, and/or soak in a hot tub with epson salts. That works somewhat. Hope U feel better soon. :)

How long have they been sore? Are you sure it's the muscles? Try rubbing some Asper-creme in. That could work faster than taking Aleve, which works better than aspirin or Tylenol, because it uses s different drug.

start with an anti-inflammatory..aspirin or ibriprofin...and believe it or not..exercise..its the best way to loosen up those sore muscles..if you just rest them you'l be sore for days..if you do mild exericse..it will only be a day or two...and lighten up on the weights...you may be lifting too many pounds...really sgouldn't get sore..fatigued but now sore...and don't forget that warm bath...

The Emu cream is aFANTASTIC cure for sore muscles. It's expensive ($11-16), but well worth it - works like magic and doesn't stink or burn.
