do you like him???? if you do, when he looks at you smile like your flirting or smile like your saying "i like you too" or something like that, don't be shy!!! everyone in their life flip!! from shy to outgoing. when you are talking to him, try to talk about something you both like, for example, music,movies,sports,etc...,you get the idea, right? and if you don't, don't pay attention while he's looking.

I feel the same way! I hate that feeling. And I'm in the same situation, that I'm not sure if the guy I like likes me back. But I can't ask him because I always mess up talking to a guy that I like.
But once a friend told me to just relax and pretend you dont like him when your talking to him.
I really hope things work out for you...because I totaly know how you feel!

well if he stares at you, then he finds you attractive. The thing is...guys like me ( that a lot of girls flirt with) usually try to disguise a bit their interest in certain girls. Because it's not just women that feel that men should take the first step...there are guys that think a bit like that although I most of the times end up taking the first step but I'm not properly easy =)
he will try to disguise by not asking too many questions when he is so anxious on asking certain stuff...like for example do you have a boyfriend? or can you give me your phone number? that kind of questions.
I always like to analyze...it's not just because of a huge flirt that i really feel that a girl is interested in me....it's true they usually flirt first but thing aren't that easy...and most of the times i was right...damn almost all of them have boyfriends! can you believe that? it seems i am the dirty boy for them. Dunno why, I actually think I am quite calm. But back to topic, i gave you my personal example so you could analyze and see for yourself if his case is similar to mine.
but either way he's interested in you, no guy stares at a girl like that if he's not interested.

Generally, he'll make excuses to talk to you or to see you. I'm pretty shy around guys I don't know well, so unfortunately, I can't give you any tips.

Just be yourself, if you're interested flirt with him a little bit. Try not to be too subtle, he probably won't get the point.
If he flirts back then there you go!
