Is it really important for couples to ave sex even if not yet married?

From the psychological point of view, it actually is one of your basic needs (Food, Shelter and Love, which includes emotional and physical). What you really need to be sure of is that you're not having sex just for the sake of doing so. I can't tell you how often I've heard people say "I wish I had waited" because there is the off chance that sex is the only reason he's talking to you. As long as you're going to be responsible about what you're doing (i.e. use protection, please) and you are comfortable with giving yourselves to each other physically as well as emotionally, then it'll bring you two closer as a couple. Just remember sex does not equal love.

No, sex is not vital or essential to a relationship and it is totally unnecessary in an uncommited or unmarried relationship. Sex is a good way to make sure the guy never marries you! Sex can be a wonderful part of a married, commited relationship. As the old saying goes,"Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free!"

No its not important, and actually doing other things besides sex makes the relationship better until ur married, then you have that commitment that is needed with sex. But you dont need sex to have a good relationship

It's not really important your mate should feel the same way about you even if you guys don't have sex. I just finished arguing with my boyfriend about this subject ( he wants to have sex) he thinks since we are together we have to! No u don't have to honey if you don't want to if your just bf/gf then you don't. When your his girlfriend your no obligated to sleep with him think about what a girlfriend is and what is a girlfriend suppose to do. In reality, a girlfriend is a step up from a bestfriend. My last advice/words for you is think about who you want to be happy and if what your doing is the right thing? Respect your body babes!

True love waits. Wait till you are married. A man that tells you if you love you will ______(does not matter what the thing is) does not deserve you. Find some one that will love and respect you. Do not be in a big rush. There a lot of fish in the sea. Good Luck and happy fishing.

It depends if in your relationship you have never had sex before than no its not important. You have time to decide when your ready. But if you were having sex and then you decide to stop and not talk about it with your partner things could get tricky. Sex brings an element of closeness that you cant get by talking and cuddling. You may not miss sex if you decided to stop but he will.

I think so. What happens if you marry this person and find out later that the sex is really really bad, or that they don't have any sexual desire? Unless both of you are not interested in sex, it could end up being an unhappy situation.

Sex is essential in a married relationship. It should be no part of an unmarried relationship....it gets in the way of the two of you really getting to know each other.

no sexx isent everything in a relationshipp, it takes patience comitment and understanding that, we may be in for the long haul,for the rest of our lives, and that, we need toosit downe and discuss the fact there is gona be days when i just cant fufill your needs i may be sick, or working late or just have a plain headache, or just simply not in the mood for it, before anyone gets maried both sides had beterr be ready to compromise, i just may not be available certain times if your in the mood for itt
