You don't want to go overboard - but some caffeine is allowed. My pregnant cousin's doctor told her to drink cola or other drinks with caffeine to try and help get rid of headaches.

I have never been pregnant, but I have heard that it is not good to drink excessive amounts of caffine during your pregnancy.

Maybe. I was really careful with my first child. No caffeine at all. She was a healthy 7lb 14 oz. With the second I threw caution to the wind and drank caffeine everyday as I wanted, which really wasn't to excess. My son turned out to be a bouncing 9lb 6oz.-er. In my case, it didn't matter. Best of luck to you and your baby.
