As a paralyzed Vietnam Vet I will never forget John Kerry's traitorous remarks made years ago calling myself and my Brothers-in Arms all manner of names from "Baby-Killers" to "cowards" upon our return and now, our brave brothers and sisters are "stupid"?
I want to state that, 'Mr. John Kerry is not only a man of questionable honor but he should apologize for making statements that not only insult every brave young man and woman Serving but but give yet again, "Aid and Comfort to the enemy.
We will now do everything humanly possible to mobilize the Conservative Base not necessarily to Vote to support current policy and Incumbents but to vote "against the Democrats" and the Nancy Pelosi San Francisco Values that party holds to!
This was the best thing he could have done to energize our base!
Now, how will the Far Left Wong ACLU Adoring Liberal Dems explain away this one...
"He was mis-quoted" or maybe, "His statement was taken out of context" or maybe he meant it?

The obvious responses that come from the far Left Wing ACLU Adoring Liberal Democrats hereing speak volumes!
That's why this venue is a great medium for a huge segemnt of our society to see exactly what Liberals think of our sacrifice and service... aparently not much.
The national members of the PVA will be following responses herein closely and we hope it ebergizes the Modreate Democratic and Cinservative base even further Base even more to get out and Vote!

From Henry Kissinger, as quoted in "Kiss the Boys Goodbye: How the United States Betrayed Its Own POW's In Vietnam":
“Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.”
This from the former National Security Advisor under Nixon & Secretary of State under Nixon & Ford.....AND....regular advisor to Cheney & Bush on matters regarding the War in Iraq.
God Bless You and The Southern People.

Those idiots who have supported John Kerry through all of this obviously do not know his history of anti-military remarks and actions. I prefer to believe they are uninformed than to believe that they are all as anti-military as he is.
Let's give Kerry the benefit of the doubt and say that he really did mess up the speech. The stunned silence I'm sure he received when he thought he was making a joke should have told him immediately that something was wrong. He should have clarified what he really meant right then. He's given enough speeches; he has the experience to be able to ad-lib. He didn't. He let it go. He didn't see anything wrong with what he said.
His refusal to immediately apologize speaks volumes. He didn't apologize until the Democrats forced him to. He called a press conference to say he was refusing to apologize; why didn't he do the same when he finally did give that weak apology? He wimped out by posting it on the Internet.
Given his past history and the fact that he didn't correct himself immediately, I believe he meant exactly what he said. There's nothing to "take out of context" here - he said what he said.
To all active duty military, veterans, and their families - Thank You and God Bless You!!!!!

baltic, being a Vietnam Vet is a proud honor if you are lucky enough to be here ( so many aren't-RIP)
You can't stoop to Mr. Kerry's level because what he said was so hurtful. It is unbecoming for all involved.
Rest assured, the whole world heard him make an azz of himself, and by not apologizing for it, he committed the equivalent
of political suicide. The angry masses have voiced their disgust and we should just let a fool be a fool and live on....
And you don't have to get an apology to forgive stupidity, either .
Try it... it will surely free you :-)
Your passion definitely grabs peoples attention; I hope you can find a way to rechannel your anger into something positive because you can do greater things
and I thank you for the selfless sacrifices you have suffered so that my family could be free...God is with you
PEACE

Don't worry my brother! As a Vet myself (8 yrs active duty in the U.S. Army), I'm gonna go to the polls and knock the Dems limp ***** in the dirt. They ever get power again this country is doomed. I firmly believe that. Liberalism is the root of all evil. It must be defeated at all cost, even if it means the cost of my blood.

Apologize? Does Kerry actually think that is going to solve the problem with his ARROGANT attitude to those of us out here who have SERVED PROUDLY and HONORABLY in the US Military?
As a Military Retiree Myself (and siblings are STILL Serving) -- we ALL are going to VOTE in this upcoming Election!

Kerry didn't have a press conference today when he issued a written damage control pathetic so-called apology . Yesterday when he loudly proclaimed he would NOT apologize , he called a press conference . Today he still does not say he should not have called our military stupid or uneducated -but he's SORRY they misunderstood him . I'll bet . He still needs to go over to Iraq and apologize to our military like he means it .

I believe members of our military are already paying the highest price that can possible be paid in support of their country and the should not be used as POLITICAL TALKING POINTS.

I do think he should apologize but I'm sure he knows it will make no difference. He supposedly apologized today but in the statement he made he never said "I'm sorry". He instead defended what he said and tried to make excuses!
